The O'Malley Clan Association was founded in 1953 in Westport, Co Mayo, Ireland withe objective of brining O'Malleys together to celebrate our shared cultural heritage. Now in our 72nd year of activity, we continue to build upon the great work of earlier Clan leaders in connecting O'Malleys across the globe. We keep in touch via this Website, Newsletter, Facebook, X and Instagram pages, highlighting O'Malley activities everywhere and making new contacts among O'Malleys wherever you are.
Of course we include Malleys, Melias, O'Maleys and all other variants in the spelling of our illustrious surname.Our newsletter "Ó Máille" published monthly, is available to all clan mailing list members, with an eclectic mix of articles and news items about O'Malleys wherever they may be. Our Clan Chieftain, Denise O'Malley, would like to welcome you all to the updated O'Malley Clan Association Website and invite you to our annual Clan Gathering on June 26 -28 in Ennis, Co Clare.
The main event each year for the O'Malley Clan Association is of course the O'Malley Clan Gathering, held at the end of June each summer. Last year we met in Westport, Co Mayo where we enjoyed a brilliant weekend.
From the shores of the Wild Atlantic Way, to the far reaches of the Globe, the O'Malley name has always stood for strength, resilience, and a deep connection to our heritage. This year, It is with great pride and excitement that I am hosting our 2026 Gathering.
I invite O'Malleys, their families and friends from every corner of the world to converge on the historic town of Ennis, the heart of Traditional Irish Music and Dance, for our three-day O'Malley Clan Gathering to celebrate our shared lineage and strengthen the bonds of our great Clan.

Our new (May 2026) website is a work in progress. We aim to build an archive of the activities of the O'Malley Clan Association over the years as well as helping you to connect with the broader O'Malley community today. As you explore the site, you'll see there are sections that are incomplete, pages not yet created and space for more content to be uploaded.
